Brazilian lemonade recipes, videos and reels have been making the rounds on Instagram and TikTok recently.
However, despite being called Brazilian lemonade, it’s actually limeade and is made using fresh limes.
The reason it’s called “lemonade” is because the word for lime in Portuguese is limão and in Portuguese they call it “limonada” which translates to lemonade.
There are a few different versions of the recipe but all of them involve fresh limes or lime juice, sugar or condensed milk.
What makes this recipe so simple is that it can use whole limes with the skin and everything.
