pgLang and Converse have reunited for their second collaborative effort, which merges the shoe brand’s classic style with pgLang’s creative ethos.
Returning to the Converse Chuck 70 shoe, the new collab from Converse and Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free‘s company offers a minimalist interpretation of the classic silhouette in two variations. Both offerings arrive with black canvas uppers, but a closer look at the detailing will reveal the subtle differences: one iteration features Converse Navy pinstriping on the left shoe and Irish Cream on the right, while the other is embellished with Irish Cream pinstriping on the left with Converse Red on the right.
The rest of the shoe highlights similar design features from the original May 2022 collab, including hiking-style eyelets and the asymmetrical rubber varnish. Words of wisdom and graphics land on the insole and rubber heel plate, while a “pgLang for” phrase is embossed on top of the Converse All Star ankle logo. The shoe rests on a white and black pinstriped midsole and black outsole, while white laces tie the shoe together for a clean finish.
Check out the collab above. The pgLang x Converse Chuck 70 is available on the Converse and pgLang webstores starting November 2. There’s a catch, however: you don’t get to pick which iteration you’ll receive. pgLang and Converse will let luck decide for you.
Elsewhere in footwear, LeBron James is reportedly releasing his first Nike training shoe next year.
