Gabby Logan has enjoyed a lengthy career as a broadcaster, most recently taking on the exciting job of keeping a close eye on all the FIFA Women’s World Cup action.
The 50 year old Welsh presenter has hosted major sporting events for the BBC, including last year's UEFA Women’s Euros and the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
On Tuesday, the former rhythmic gymnast will host the 2023 BBC Sports Personality of the Year alongside fellow pundits Gary Lineker, Clare Balding, and Alex Scott at MediaCityUK in Salford.
Gabby is married to former Scotland rugby star Kenny, and the pair have been very open about many of the issues they've had to overcome in their marriage, including infertility, a terrifying cancer diagnosis and menopause.
Here's a look inside Gabby's life away from her sports presenting duties…

Gabby and Kenny tied the knot in 2001. In 2007, the couple both competed on Strictly Come Dancing at the same time, as Gabby was paired with James Jordan and Kenneth was paired with Ola Jordan.
Gabby and Kenny underwent IVF and welcomed twins Lois and Reuben in July 2005.
Speaking about their journey to becoming parents after suffering fertility struggles, Gabby told the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast: "You feel in your heart somehow you're failing and you don't want to always admit that you're not achieving this thing that seems so easy for everyone else.
"Once we started on the voyage of discovery of what was going on inside my body, in Kenny’s body, and then we’re told after some quite intrusive tests 'oh, well you’re part of the 20% of people who have unexplained infertility'."
The twins are now 18 years old, and Gabby often shares snaps of precious family time with her 219,000 Instagram followers – sparking comments about the striking family resemblance.
Under one snap of the Logan family, one person wrote: "Proud parents, rightly so. Kenny and your genes have definitely been passed on to your family!" as another penned: "Gosh your children are beautiful."
A third sweetly shared: "Gorgeous family Gabby. Ruben is so much like his dad and Lois is stunning, just like you."
In October last year, the former gymnast revealed that her sex life with husband Kenny suffered due to the menopause.
“My libido was not what it once was,” she admitted during the Menopause Monologues stage show. “My husband and I have always had a strong physical connection, but sex definitely became a job to be ticked off the list.”
A dwindling sex drive wasn’t the only symptom that Gabby experienced as she entered the menopause in 2020 during lockdown.
“I had this gnawing anxiety which I had never really experienced before. At this point, we were smack-bang in the middle of lockdown, so I put it down to that. But as time went on, the mist wasn’t lifting and I was in this slump that I didn’t think I could see a way out of – I wasn’t finding joy in the thing I used to, exercise felt like hard work and my temperament was volatile at best.”
The presenter didn’t realise she was experiencing menopausal symptoms straight away, even though, as she remembers “my skin lost a little bit of its glow, and my hair started to feel a bit thinner.”
It was only when she was recording her podcast The Midpoint with journalist Mariella Frostrup that she realised her feelings and symptoms could indicate the menopause.
“I was listening to Mariella talking about her menopause experience and I thought, ‘Hmm, these symptoms are ringing a few bells,” she explained. “I was 47, nearly 48, and I hadn’t really thought about it before.”
Gabby was faced with affair accusations in 2011 when a social media user claimed she was seeing Alan Shearer. The incident happened when there were a "load of injunctions being slapped on tabloid newspapers," Gabby explained.
At the time, there was a "rumour swirling" that a former footballer was trying to prevent a story from being published. As speculation around who the ex-footballer was and what they were trying to keep out of the press, one Twitter user tagged her and claimed she was embroiled in an affair with former Newcastle and England striker Alan.
In her memoir, serialised by the Mail on Sunday, the mother of two wrote, "A message popped up on my timeline: 'I hear this injunction concerns @gabbylogan who is having an affair with Alan Shearer.' I laughed when I read it. Then I got angry. Then I panicked.'"
Gabby hastily responded by writing: "I think you should be careful what you write on here. The publishing laws apply and you are guilty of defamation of character with that."
