French watch brand, YEMA has revealed its new Superman Bronze model, which features a brand new CMM.10 caliber that underwent three years of rigorous R&D.
Arriving in two color variants, one features a lacquered black dial with a matching rubber strap, while the other is fitted with a blue rubber strap complete with a gradient blue dial. Exuding vintage appeal, both versions are attired in an enhanced bronze case and bezel, which will patina over time and wear, making each piece unique to its wearer. In addition, the watches are offered in 39mm and 41mm case sizes, with each model being produced in a limited run of 1,948 examples each.
Measuring 28mm in diameter, the CMM.10 caliber is geared with a self-winding and bi-directional oscillating weight. Boasting a frequency of 28,800vph, the movement provides up to 70 hours of continuous running time. On top of that, the caliber is built with non-magnetic alloys for enhanced resistance to magnetism, while incorporated Incabloc® double-cone adds to its ability to be shock-proof.
Synonymous with YEMA’s usual crowdfunding approach, the new Superman Bronze will be available via a designated Kickstarter campaign starting November 10. A singular watch is offered for €999 EUR (approximately $1,068 USD), meanwhile, a bundle of two is priced at €1,998 EUR (approximately $2,137 USD).
