Over in Germany, gamescom is going down as one of the key gaming events of the year with reveals involving titles such as the long-awaited Starfield. In preparation of this, Microsoft and its Xbox team has joined forces with sleep specialists TEMPUR to assemble a one-of-a-kind gaming chair.
On display at the event, the Dream Chair utilizes TEMPUR’s signature TEMPUR material that was originally developed by NASA scientists in the early ’60s to support astronauts. Now, it has been used to create the Dream Chair — a Starfield-themed setup that takes on the title’s signature “NASA Punk” art style. Various thematic details are spread throughout the chair and its accompanying rig as anticipation for the new title continues to peak.
Unfortunately, this unique Starfield-themed chair from TEMPUR and Xbox will not be up for sale. However, fans can check it out at gamescom from August 23 to 27 at the Xbox booth. Afterwards, it will become star attraction at the Saturn Xperion store in Germany before residing at the TEMPUR store in Westfield, Stratford in October for a month. As for Starfield, the game officially launches on September 6 for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
