Jordan Brand is gearing up for the harsh winter months with a revival of its divisive 2010 outdoor boot. In 2010, the Jordan 6 Rings received a weatherized update for the winter season, arriving in two staple colorways, the “Triple Black” and in “Wheat.” Now, the winter-ready, functional boot is returning to shelves for Holiday 2023.
The shoe combines elements from seven classic Air Jordan silhouettes that Michael Jordan wore in during his six NBA Championships. Re-contextualized and reimagined, the Jordan 6 Rings Winterized is weather-resistance due to its thick premium leather that highlights the full-length overlay, heel counter and tongue construction. Ballistic mesh is used across the upper and tongue while metallic lace loops give the shoe its heavy duty and functional aesthetic. The laces are made with grey and black ropeand the Jumpman logo can be seen on the tongue label as a patch.
Look out for the Jordan 6 Rings Winterized “Triple Black and “Wheat” arriving in select retailers and online at Nike around the holiday season. It is uncertain if there will be new colors released.
In case you missed it, Nike Zoom Freak 5 TB has surfaced in “Game Royal.”
