This Morning has paid tribute to Matty Lock following the tragic news of his death at the age of just 19.
Lock was a politician and campaigner who was a popular member of the Labour Party in Sefton and Merseyside.
He was recently elected as a town councillor in Maghull and was a parish councillor in Lydiate.
Lock had appeared on the ITV daytime show, reviewing vacuums and sharing his love of them, which started when he was just two and got his first toy Henry.
Back in 2018, aged just 13, Lock had sold around 300 machines to cleaning companies, private homeowners, and his teachers.
Taking to Twitter, the official This Morning page wrote that the team are ‘shocked’ by Lock’s sudden death.
‘Incredibly sad news, Matty did so much for his community,’ she wrote. ‘My love and prayers are with his friends and family.’
