As stars get into the Halloween spirit – can YOU guess who's who?

The White Witch, X-Men’s Storm, Pennywise and The Mask: As stars in the UK get into the Halloween spirit – can YOU guess who is behind the costume?

Halloween is here and yet again stars are bringing their A-game in the costume stakes, as they all bid to impress their fans with creative looks.

While some opt for simple yet sexy outfits, sporting traditional witch, cat and vampire ensembles, others take the annual spooktactular far more seriously.

Many become totally unrecognisable as they undergo hours of hair and make-up before revealing their often jaw-dropping finished look.

Celebrities have even begun following in the footsteps of the Kardashian-Jenners and staging professional photoshoots to show off their Halloween finery.

As the stars show off their unrecognisable costumes, we’ve selected the best so far – so can you work out who they are?

1. The White Witch from The Chronicles of Narnia

2. X-men superhero Storm

3. Grand High Witch from the film adaption of Roald Dahl’s book The Witches

4. Pennywise from Stephen King’s IT

5. Alfredo Linguini and Remy from the film Ratatouille

6. Jim Carey’s The Mask

7. Morticia Addams from The Adam’s Family

1. Olivia Attwood

Olivia pulled out all of the stops this year as she appeared on the Halloween special of Loose Women in head-to-toe costume.

The TV presenter looked unrecognisable as the The White Witch from The Chronicles of Narnia, as she donned white make-up and grey clothing.

Ditching her blonde locks, the former Love Islander embraced a dark black wig for the look which faded into grey locks.

Adorned in fur, she donned a icy makeup look complete with white eyelashes and silver gemstones.

The cast had some as varying witches from a selection of blockbusters, including The Wizard Of Oz and Hocus Pocus.

2. Maya Jama

Maya is the queen of Halloween and holds a party every year on October 31 for her closest friends.

The Love Island host unveiled her look hours before the big night on her Instagram page, revealing that this year she would be attending as Storm.

Last year, Maya looked equally unrecognisable as she hosted the bash as an older version of herself, wearing a grey wig and walking with a stick.

3. Nadia Sawalha

Nadia Sawalha looked positively horrifying as she was transfigured into the Grand High Witch from the film adaption of Roald Dahl’s book The Witches.

The 58-year-old’s costume was complete with a protruding nose, huge hand and ears, wrinkled dirty skin and her usual unruly curls were concealed by a bald cap.

Embodying the children’s character, Nadia appeared as the Grand High Witch in her more ‘human’ state before transforming to her ‘witch’ state after the break.

Like Olivia, she showed off her look on Loose Women and producers took inspiration from the scene in the film where the witches gather together for their meeting and, once the doors are locked, take off their wigs and peel of their faces.

4. Alex Scott

Alex showed off her terrifying yet racy Halloween look as she transformed into Pennywise the clown.

The football pundit, 39, looked frightening in her ultra-realistic costume, which featured a bold red wig, full clown make-up and a yellow bodysuit.

However she also added a sultry element in the lower half of the ensemble, putting on a very leggy display in matching yellow sheer thigh-high stockings.

Taking to Instagram the presenter joked that ‘ScottieWise [is] the new PennyWise’, striking a variety of poses including holding the clown’s signature balloons.

To add to her spooky look, Alex posed under a dimly-lit Gloucester Avenue Bridge by Regent’s canal, walking towards the camera with a deadpan expression.

5. Perrie Edwards

Perrie and her son Axel both transformed into Disney characters for Halloween.

The Little Mix star, 30, and her two-year-old son looked unrecognisable as they dressed up as Chef Gusteau and rat Remy from Ratatouille.

Her trademark blonde locks were covered by a short brown wig and a white chef’s hat and matching jacket.

Meanwhile, Axel looked adorable in a grey rat onesie while posing on Perrie’s shoulders.

She added an iconic quote from the film in her Instagram caption: ‘Anyone can cook, but only the fearless can be great.’

6. Roxy Horner

Roxy Horner went all-out as Jim Carrey’s The Mask for Gaucho steakhouse’s ‘Hallowzeem’ party in London on Friday night.

The model, 32, looked incredible dressed as the iconic film character.

She completely embodied Jim Carrey’s 1994 character, wearing a bright yellow suit with a matching hat.

Roxy also painted her face completely green, with some of it unfortunately staining the rim of her hat.

The new mother completed the look with a white shirt and an intricate white, black and grey tie.

7. Adele

Adele, 35, was dressed as Morticia Addams from The Addams Family for Halloween as she performed her Weekends With Adele show in Vegas on Saturday.

The Hello singer honoured Halloween weekend by dressing up as the iconic witch, as she donned a long black wig and sleek long black dress.

During the show, Adele burst into tears as she spotted the doctor who delivered her baby in the audience of her residency at Caesars Palace.
