A BEACH in the UK has such beautiful sand, that it has been compared to the coastline of California.
And it was even given the first Blue Flag in the country, as well as often being named one of the best beaches in Europe.
Cefn Sidan, in Wales, was given the prestigious award for its cleanliness and safety, with more than eight miles of sand.
However, it's not just its sandy beach that has attracted tourists over the years.
It is said to have more than 300 shipwrecks along the coastline, dating back as far as 1668.
One of the wrecks that is on land is the SV Paul, which crashed after leaving Nova Scotia in October 1925, aiming to land in Pembrokeshire.

While no one died in the wreck, its cargo of expensive tropical timber was taken by locals, with many houses still using it now.
Otherwise when the tide is out,you can also see the hull of the SS Paul.
And some of the shipwrecks weren't due to weather, but pirates onshore, who would attract sailors before robbing them.
But in modern day, there is another amazing sight at the beach too.
