The school holidays should begin on Monday, December 17, so you could even head for a break before Christmas day.
Meanwhile, Christmas Day and Boxing Day will fall on Monday and Tuesday.
New Year's Eve will be on a Sunday for those wishing to go on a New Year getaway.
