People were left in stitches after a woman filmed her father’s very overwhelmed reaction to a McDonald’s in London’s Liverpool Street Station, which he compared to a ‘car auction’.
The fast-food restaurant is known to those in the city for its hectic late-night atmosphere, filled with patrons coming back from clubbing, with employees often needing a microphone to yell out order numbers for collection.
TikToker @puwtok documented the experience in a video from last month, which has since racked up some 1.1 million views and 151,600 likes.
The clip shows the father – who is called Puw – laughing as he took in the frantic scenes.

‘It’s like bingo in here tonight!’ he joked, listening to the numbers being hollered out.
‘I don’t know what I’m doing here,’ he later laughed. ‘I feel like I’m at a car auction.’
Commenters couldn’t stop laughing at Puw’s ‘sensory overload’, with several camera angles zooming in on his baffled facial expressions.
Many also shared their own experiences with the branch.

It comes as an alarming video on TikTok captured the moment a large rat was seen running through the inside of a McDonald’s branch in Stratford, east London.
The six-second video shows the rodent running through the fast food chain mere metres from customers tucking into their food.
Staff members can be seen trying to capture the animal with a dustpan and brush, before it runs from one side of the outlet to the other.
Many people in the comments also shared their own experiences with the hectic branch in London
Meanwhile, diners can be heard screaming in horror in the background after catching a glimpse of the rat.
The clip, which has been viewed over 2.3million times since it was posted by @takeawaytrauma on September 30, had users shocked and appalled by the incident.
A McDonald’s statement on the incident at its Stratford branch said: ‘Hygiene and cleanliness are of the utmost importance to us and following the sighting, the restaurant crew took immediate steps to rectify the situation.
‘The restaurant then closed so that it could undergo a deep clean of the area. Our external pest control experts were called out for an urgent precautionary inspection too and confirmed the site has no internal pest issues.
‘They will continue to provide regular routine checks of the restaurant and surrounding area which is standard practice and helps ensure the restaurant maintains its Food Hygiene Rating of 5.’
