Los Angeles-based label The Elder Statesman looks for fun wherever it goes, becoming synonymous with inventive concepts that speak for themselves. While Fall/Winter 2023 cooked up elevated kitchen uniforms, Spring/Summer 2024 sees founder Greg Chait and Creative Director Bailey Hunter invade pocket-sized islands in beach-ready attire.
The vibrant collection is presented on tiny islands installed by The Elder Statesman team on the Florida Keys shoreline. It is packed with tropical motifs destined for fun under the sun.
Models are captured in patchwork-style knit dresses with promotional beachside symbolism, grasping swordfish out of water. Airbrushed shirting and fishnet skirts receive beaded detailing, while sunsets ignite on long-sleeve tees paired with pleated bottoms. Waves crash on graphic ensembles with “paradise” scripture, standing next to multi-colored cardigans crafted in premium silk. Denim uniforms, checkered coats, wicker hats, and bright-colored flip-flops complete The Elder Statesman’s SS24 collection.
