For the past two days Taylor Swift fans have been frantically trying to find out the names for the vault songs on 1989.
While the Mr Perfectly Fine singer enjoyed a night out with fellow Joe Jonas ex, Sophie Turner, her fans have been cracking codes.
Swifties launched into puzzles on Google, of which there were 89 to complete, in hopes of unlocking her vault for 1989.
After 40 million fans completed puzzles, Taylor dropped the full back covers of her upcoming re-release 1989 (Taylor’s Version).
This included five new songs which are from the vault, written during the era but not included on the original album.
The announcement revealed the new song names; Is It Over Now?, Now That We Don’t Talk, Say Don’t Go, Suburban Legends and ‘S**t!’.
Taylor herself had been hinting at the final vault track song by sharing the letters T S U L ! on her Instagram.
1989 was the VMA winner’s fifth studio album and the one that launched her into pop superstardom.
One of the most surprising things about the track list reveal is that 1989 TV appears to have no featured artists.
Fans had been speculating that a collaboration with Nicki Minaj might be on the cards, thanks to a puzzle which read ‘Sagittarius’ which Taylor said to Nicki at the VMAs.
A popular theory was that Harry Styles could appear on her song Style, which was said to be penned about him.
It appears Taylor has decided that the album which made her a global megastar will be all her own voice.
We’re already crying thinking about Clean (Taylor’s Version).
There are four versions of the physical CD and five vinyl editions, which includes a tangerine exclusive vinyl that contains a bonus track.
1989 Taylor’s Version will be out on October 27, 2023 – nine years after it’s original release.
