Rugby legend James Haskell has been pictured kissing goodbye to a mystery woman, just days after confirming his split from wife Chloe Madeley.
The powerhouse ex-rugby union player, 38, and Chloe, 36, announced their split after five years of marriage, earlier this week and James has since called their breakup 'complicated'.
Now, the star, who welcomed daughter Bodhi with his ex Chloe last year, has been spotted saying a fond farewell to a mystery blonde female companion with a kiss on the cheek and a hug.
Chloe, daughter of TV stars Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan, shocked the nation when she first announced her split from rugby star husband James.
Just days after admitting the split from his wife was 'complicated' during his appearance on Mike Tindall's The Good, The Bad and The Rugby podcast, James was seen planting a kiss on a mystery blonde's cheek.
He kept things casual as he dressed in a black hoody but he looked happy as he smiled while giving a woman in a green coat a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
The pair appeared to laugh together and the sportsman looked in high spirits as he exited the London Palladium theatre after the second night on tour with Mike.
It comes after James spoke about his recent split with former I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! campmate Mike, 45.
The sportsman informed listeners on Wednesday: "So for those of you who don’t know, my missus and I are separated. We’re separated but we’re committed 100 percent to my daughter.
"It’s obviously a complicated time and we have to play it out in front of the media. Because I haven't said anything, people fill that void and fill that silence. And obviously this week, in the last sort of three or four weeks, there's been lots of conjecture."
Earlier this week the pair issued a statement saying they have separated, just 13 months after the birth of their daughter.
James wrote on his Instagram: "Chloe and I mutually decided to separate at the end of September, 2023. We had not planned on releasing a statement at this time – certainly not while the television show was airing – but constant speculation about our marriage has, unfortunately, forced our hand.
"Beyond this statement, we will not be speaking about this matter publicly, and we would request privacy at this time. Our sole focus now is our beautiful daughter. We shall continue to co-parent with nothing but love."
Earlier this month, before the pair confirmed their split, Chloe was seen without her wedding ring during a girls' night out.
This happened just days after James was seen chatting with a mystery blonde at the famous Chiltern Firehouse. The blonde woman was later identified as Martine Bridge, a PR executive who has known James for years.
Chloe later first released the statement explaining that she didn't plan to announce her split from James but rumours about their relationship forced them to publicly confirm their separation.
More recently, Chloe was forced to warn away paparazzi camped outside their family home on social media.
The fitness guru and the former rugby player had been together since 2014. They secretly split back in September – but have only now made it known to their fans.
Their shock split comes as Chloe's new ITV reality TV show, Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair, continues on screens.
During each episode, the star opens the door and gives viewers an insight into how she juggles work, first-time motherhood, and her famous family.
