Sam Thompson announced as winner of I’m a Celeb 2023
As the I’m A Celebrity campmates knocked back the champagne and celebrated Sam Thompson being crowned King of the Jungle, some fans were left saying the same thing after two stars were noticeably absent. Grace Dent and Jamie Lynn Spears, who both pulled out of the show early, were the only no-shows at the celebrations.
Viewers had wondered whether they would see the pair supporting finalists Sam Thompson, Tony Bellew and Nigel Farage and subsequently reunite with their other campers.
However, some were left disappointed by their absence and took to social media to share their thoughts.
Alongside a group snap of the reunited campers on the I’m A Celeb Instagram page. one wrote: “Why wasn’t Grace there?”
Another asked: “I’m confused as to why Jamie and Grace didn’t come to the finals.” While another said: “I’m so disappointed to not see Jamie. She just put this all behind her.”

Grace returned to the UK after quitting the series for medical reasons before the public vote began and had bid farewell to her campmates in a letter.
Viewers noticed she’d been getting increasingly frail on the show. On her return to the UK, she said she was “overwhelmingly sad” to have left the jungle.
She is currently in Monaco and has posted snaps and videos from her holiday to her Instagram page.
Meanwhile, Jamie Lynn decided to leave Iโm A Celebrity just a few days after Grace’s departure.

In one of her Instagram Stories, Jamie confirmed she was “medically cleared” to return to DWTS and “took the first flight” as soon as she got the news.
After three weeks in the jungle, Sam has won the hearts of the nation with his energetic nature and enthusiastic personality. He was greeted by pal Pete Wicks as his girlfriend, Strictly’s Zara McDermott cheered him on from the UK.
