Four-ingredient ginger shot recipe to help with immunity – ‘really easy’ to make

A recipe creator, Justin Schuble, took to his TikTok to share a “really easy” ginger shot recipe. All you need is four ingredients and your shots will be ready in three simple steps.

In the video, Justin said: “I feel like everyone is getting sick right now so let’s make some immunity shots. This recipe is really easy.

“You only need four ingredients. These shots are going to keep your immune system in its best shape possible to help you fight off any sickness.”

The primary ingredient in the drinks – ginger root – is packed with antioxidants, antiviral and antibacterial properties that can make a difference for your immunity, digestion and energy levels. Justin Gasparovic, a life coach and behavioural psychology expert, previously told Express.co.uk: “Ginger shots can potentially be a formidable ally in reinforcing your immune system.

  • Nine ounces (about 255.15 grams) of fresh ginger
  • Three ounces (about 85 grams) of fresh turmeric
  • Two lemons
  • Dash of black pepper

Method

1. Cut up your ginger, turmeric and lemons.

2. Put the ginger, turmeric, and lemon juice into a juicer.

3. Pour the ginger shots into a glass and sprinkle with a dash of black pepper. Enjoy!

Justin explained in the caption that the addition of black pepper will enhance curcumin absorption in the body by up to 2000 percent. He said: “And don’t forget to add black pepper because that actually lets you absorb the turmeric way better.”

The recipe creator added that you can put your ginger shot leftovers in the fridge or freeze them.
