Prince William has revealed that his children are huge fans of the house DJ Jax Jones.

The British DJ, 36, met the Prince of Wales, 41, at the late Queen’s Jubilee celebrations at Buckingham Palace, where he told him that George, 10, Charlotte, eight, and Louis, five, ‘love’ his music.

Jax Jones, real name Timucin Lam, rose to fame after working on the number one hit I Got U with Duke Dumont.

In response, Jax, who performed at The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee concert, joked that he might perform at one of Wales’ children’s birthday parties.

Speaking to HELLO!, Jax said: ‘I met the Prince of Wales in Buckingham Palace after the late Queen’s Jubilee, which I performed at and it was amazing, and he told me that his kids love my music and I joked about performing at one of their birthdays.’

The Prince and Princess of Wales have a working relationship with the DJ, and earlier this year, it was reported that they had secret meetings with him to learn how to connect with young people around the UK.

The push was ahead of Kate’s launch of her Early Childhood Campaign, of which the artist has been made an ambassador.

Jax told The Sun: ‘Our relationship started at the Jubilee and we hung out at Buckingham Palace afterwards.

‘We all got talking — they are super nice and super welcoming. To be asked to get involved and be an ambassador is a real honour. They are really down to earth and they just want to do positive things.’

The DJ is a father to daughter Lawanna, two.

He confessed he was afraid of doing something wrong when he met the royal couple for the first time.

He said: ‘I was so concerned about getting the addresses wrong. So the first time you meet a princess you say ‘Your Highness’ and then it’s ‘Ma’am’, but they make you feel so at ease.

In recent times, Prince William has shared information on his children’s eclectic music taste. Pictured above is Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis during the Royal Carols – Together At Christmas service at Westminster Abbey

‘We were chatting prior to the launch and spent the day at Windsor Castle having a real brainstorm of ideas.’

The Princess of Wales has said her early years campaign goes beyond ‘raising kids’ and is also about ‘shaping our society’ and creating a ‘more nurturing world’.

It comes after Prince William revealed that his youngest son Louis is a huge fan of pop band OneRepublic.

The Prince of Wales, 41, met the American singers back stage at the Earthshot awards in Singapore last night.

Speaking to the group, famed for songs Counting Stars and Apologize, the future king said: ‘I can’t thank you enough,’

‘You were amazing. What a way to start the show. That was incredible.’

‘Louis, my youngest, loves your songs’ he added, before he confessed that Prince George, 10, is still into veteran rockers AC/DC.

The prince met the band backstage after the show at the 1,500-capacity Theatre at Mediacorp and congratulated them on their performance, which opened proceedings.

In May, William revealed to well-wishers that his son Prince George is a big fan of rock bands AC/DC and Led Zeppelin during a surprise meet and greet.

William and Kate greeted Big Lunch attendees in an unannounced walkabout for around 40 minutes on The Long Walk in Windsor.

Caroline Mulvihill, from the Rock Choir in Windsor and Maidenhead, spoke to William during the meet and greet.

Recounting their conversation, she said: ‘We were talking about the kind of music we do in Rock Choir and Will was telling us in their household they have a very diverse music taste and George is very much into AC/DC and Led Zeppelin.
