How a single festive fir will no longer do &#8211; as celebrities and interiors influencers drive trend for &#8216;putting one in every room&#8217;<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Survey by interiors brand Ginger Ray found that more than a third of Brits have two or more trees<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Read more:\u00a0The top worst 10 Christmas crimes we commit over the festive season&#8230; But how many are YOU guilty of?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Why have one Christmas tree when you can have two, three or even four?<\/p>\n<p>Instagram interiors influencers &#8211; and celebrities such as\u00a0Stacey Solomon and Mrs Hinch\u00a0&#8211; have been sharing snaps of their multiple trees across several rooms of their pristine homes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Research released this week by interiors brand Ginger Ray found that more than a third of us now have two or more trees in our home, with famous faces said to be behind the trend that more is more when it comes to Christmas firs and spruces.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>TV star Solomon confessed on social media on November 1st that she&#8217;d already put her first tree up &#8211; in the bedroom she shares with husband\u00a0Joe Swash, saying she was excited to &#8216;get Christmassy&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/06\/11\/78637997-12831763-image-a-2_1701862489970.jpg\" height=\"845\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Rockin&#8217; around the Christmas trees! Property valuer and Instagrammer Gemma Walters, 37, from Nottingham has three big trees and one small one, saying: &#8216;Whichever room I\u2019m in, I still want to feel Christmas is around me&#8217; (Pictured: Walters&#8217; hallway tree)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/06\/11\/78639751-12831763-image-a-23_1701863196261.jpg\" height=\"144\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The celebrity has since followed up elsewhere in the house with a slim frosted artificial tree and, this weekend, the family added to their collection with a visit to a local Christmas tree farm.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Solomon, 34, who has baby Belle, Rose, two, and Rex, four, with Swash as well as sons\u00a0Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 10, from previous relationships, shared the moment they chopped down a real tree before installing it in their Essex home.<\/p>\n<p>And Solomon isn&#8217;t the only one to embrace the trend. Mrs Hinch has been showing off her festooned trees at her stunning Essex pad.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Interiors influencer Gemma Walters, 37, from\u00a0Nottingham says she&#8217;s put up three big trees in her home this year &#8211; one in her living room, one in the hall and one in the kitchen.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/06\/11\/78637985-12831763-image-m-6_1701862656873.jpg\" height=\"408\" width=\"306\"><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/06\/11\/78637995-12831763-image-a-7_1701862661468.jpg\" height=\"408\" width=\"306\"><\/p>\n<p>And in the Instagrammer&#8217;s living room, left, there&#8217;s a neutral, silver theme tree. The interiors influencer, who shows off her home at the @ourhome_onthe_corner account on Instagram says social media has driven the trend for more than one tree in modern homes<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/06\/11\/78637989-12831763-image-a-9_1701862835870.jpg\" height=\"845\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The hallway tree has a gingerbread theme, says Gemma, because she wanted to make it magical for her daughter<\/p>\n<p>The property valuer, who also shares photos of her gorgeous home on Instagram under the handle @ourhome_onthe_corner told MailOnline: &#8216;We have three main Christmas trees and one very small one.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Whichever room I\u2019m in, I still want to feel Christmas is around me.\u00a0We have a tree in the lounge, hallway and kitchen.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She explains: &#8216;Our lounge tree has baubles which are mainly from places we have visited over the years and is fairly neutral in colour.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The kitchen tree is a snowy dream with hints of gold. The cleaning guru, aka\u00a0Sophie Hinchliffe, shared these two photos of two of the trees in her home<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;My hallway tree is very loud in colour compared to the colour scheme of our home but it\u2019s fun and my daughter loves it. For my other two trees, I have tried to keep to the theme of our home which is quite neutral.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Walters thinks people sharing photos of their multiple trees on Instagram has sparked the trend, saying: &#8216;I think social media has had a big influence on people having more than one Christmas tree along with getting trees up before December.&#8217;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A survey carried out by interiors website Ginger Ray suggests that it&#8217;s increasingly common, with\u00a0almost a third of British people now putting up two or more Christmas trees.
