THE biggest indoor Christmas funfair in the UK is opening next month – with lots of festive rides and attractions. <\/p>\n
Winter Funland in Birmingham is back for 2023, transforming a stuffy exhibition centre into the "most Christmassy place outside of the North Pole". <\/p>\n

There will be plenty of rides at the largest indoor Christmas Funfair in the country, including waltzers, a huge slide, dodgems, and a whole lot more. <\/p>\n
The event will also be home to a giant ice skating rink, where visitors aged four and over will be able to skate until their heart's content. <\/p>\n
Visitor numbers on the ice will be capped, and there will be instructors on hand to provide skaters with any assistance.<\/p>\n
Birmingham's Winter Funland will also have its very own Christmas Circus Show, with clowns, acrobats, popcorn, and candy floss. <\/p>\n
There will also be a Santa's Grotto Experience at the funfair too, tickets must be pre-booked online and cost an extra \u00a37. <\/p>\n A range of festive food and drink will also be served at the event, including burgers, candy floss, chips, and hot dogs<\/span>.<\/p>\n Previous guests have raved about the experience on TripAdvisor. <\/p>\n One person wrote: "I went yesterday for my daughter's birthday and it was the best four hours ever." <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Another added: "The circus was brilliant and kept our children entertained. Costume characters moved around the hall and were approachable and friendly – it's a lovely atmosphere!"<\/p>\n The Birmingham funfair is running from December 8, 2023,to January 1, 2024, with tickets now on sale.<\/p>\n Tickets start from \u00a329.50 for adults and kids, while children under the age of three are free. <\/p>\n Entry tickets into the Winter Funland include all rides and most attractions, with guests being able to stay for a maximum of four hours. <\/p>\n Visitors will need to pay extra for the Santa's Grotto experience, as well as things like food and drink. <\/p>\n Located at the NEC Arena in Birmingham, Winter Funland is a 15-minute train ride from the city centre. <\/p>\n The event is roughly a 30-minute drive from Birmingham city centre. <\/p>\n While there is parking available, this will need to be booked in advance through the NEC's website. <\/p>\n Another Winter Funland is also being held at the BEC Arena in Manchester, and it will also have unlimited rides and a circus show. <\/p>\n The Manchester funfair is running from December 17, 2023, to January 1, 2024, with tickets starting from \u00a323.50 per person. <\/p>\n Birmingham is also home to the largest authentic German Christmas market outside of\u00a0Germany.<\/p>\n The Frankfurt Christmas Market in Birmingham has already opened.<\/p>\n Now, in its 22nd year, the\u00a0Birmingham\u00a0Christmas market runs from just outside the Bullring Shopping Centre all the way up to Victoria Square.<\/p>\n Key attractions include the string of open-air wooden market stalls that sell traditional homemade gifts from\u00a0Frankfurt.<\/p>\n There are lots of exciting\u00a0Christmas\u00a0events this year, with a new magical attraction from the people behind the Secret Cinema.<\/p>\n Wishmas: A Fantastical\u00a0Christmas\u00a0Adventure\u00a0is a brand-new immersive experience, taking guests on a 60-minute adventure through the land of Wishmas.<\/p>\n Guests can meet Santa and other festive characters, as well as buy\u00a0food and drink\u00a0onsite.<\/p>\n We've rounded up the best free family-friendly Christmas activities taking place across the UK this winter. <\/p>\n<\/picture>HO HO GO <\/span><\/p>\n
