Silver further stated that the NBA is looking into &#8220;couple of cities in the US&#8221; and specified that the league is interested in setting up teams in Mexico City, Vancouver and Montreal, the last of which has already reached out to them.<\/p>\n<p>In May 2022, reports claimed that the NBA has plans to expand to Las Vegas (for its first ever team) and to Seattle, which could see the SuperSonics come home after the team was moved to Oklahoma City in 2008.
