and to mark it the Royal Mint is to issue a\u00a0<span>special commemorative \u00a35 coin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The design features traditional heraldic imagery, but there are also references to the King&#8217;s interest in the environment and all things green.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The King\u2019s heraldic badge sits above the number 75 all framed within a pattern of oak leaves and his favourite flowers, delphiniums.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/07\/28\/15\/73725035-12349163-image-m-140_1690556086570.jpg\" height=\"386\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The Royal Mint has issued a special commemorative \u00a35 coin in celebration of King Charles&#8217;s milestone 75th birthday, which falls on November 14<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/07\/31\/09\/73725157-12349163-The_design_of_the_coin_combines_traditional_heraldic_imagery_wit-a-1_1690790628337.jpg\" height=\"953\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The design of the coin combines traditional heraldic imagery with references to the King&#8217;s love of nature<\/p>\n<p>The oak leaves symbolise the Monarch&#8217;s strength, morale, resistance and knowledge, while\u00a0delphiniums, his favourite garden flowers,\u00a0reflect his love of nature.<\/p>\n<p>The coin also includes an inscription which reads: Restoring Harmony With Nature&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Created by Royal Mint designer Dan Thorne,\u00a0 the coins were personally approved by the King.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Mr Thorne said: &#8216;From concept through to the final model, I thoroughly enjoyed creating this piece\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;In honour of His Majesty, the design is based upon his love of nature and craft, whilst also referencing his various contributions towards the promotion of sustainability.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The new heraldic cypher is framed with oak leaves and delphiniums \u2013 both of which are of symbolic importance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Delphiniums are The King&#8217;s favourite flower and convey his connection with natural sustainability, whilst the oak leaves represent strength, morale, and knowledge.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>READ MORE: The King&#8217;s bees and flowers mark biggest overhaul in coinage for decades!<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The &#8217;75&#8217;
