This Morning star Dr Uchenna Okoye\u2019s cause of death has been revealed.<\/p>\n
The TV dental expert died in September at the age of 53, with her family sharing a statement announcing she had died \u2018after a sudden illness.\u2019<\/p>\n
A close friend later said she died after collapsing in her London home \u2018despite having no apparent health problems\u2019.<\/p>\n
Mars Webb said Dr Okoye\u2019s loved ones were still coming to terms with the shock death and were waiting for a coroner\u2019s report to confirm the exact reasons why she passed away.<\/p>\n
Now a coroner\u2019s report has revealed the This Morning regular died from a \u2018subarachnoid haemorrhage\u2019 following a sudden aneurysm \u2013 a blood vessel bursting in the brain.<\/p>\n
The report was seen by the MailOnline, with a spokesperson for her family confirming their loved one\u2019s \u2018death was due to natural causes.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018We are devastated, and our hearts are broken that her beautiful, full life has been cut so short.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018As a family, our priority right now is to take care of her young daughter and continue her legacy and keep her memory alive. A private celebration of her life will be held in the coming weeks.\u2019<\/p>\n
Dr Okoye was mum to a seven-year-old daughter.<\/p>\n
Her family had announced the news of her death saying they were \u2018heartbroken to announce that Dr Uchenna Okoye sadly passed away after a sudden illness on Friday 15th September 2023.\u2019<\/p>\n

Later in the evening, Holly Willoughby shared her sadness with an Instagram Story tribute.<\/p>\n
She wrote: \u2018Unbelievably sad to hear of the passing of @druchennaokoye. We first worked together many moons ago with @oralb_uk and she was very kind to me\u2026 and then of course again, giving her advice on @thismorning Sending all my love to her family.\u2019<\/p>\n
Dr Okoye was one of the few leading dentists in her field to be a member of both the American and British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.\u00a0 She was also an honorary clinician at St George\u2019s Hospital, London, and sat on the board of the British Association of Cosmetic Dentistry.\u00a0<\/p>\n
She was a regular guest on daytime show This Morning, and also made appearances on 10 Years Younger in 10 Days, Daybreak, and BBC Breakfast.<\/p>\n
