Was\u00a0extremely sick even with three types of anti sickness. Very tired too. Going to be resting up.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The star has been open about the side effects of treatment, including hair loss, and confessed she was finding it tough.<\/p>\n<p>Taking to her Instagram Stories on Monday, Amy updated her followers on how she was doing and admitted things were &#8216;really hard&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/16\/19\/75510497-12526579-image-a-36_1694890133295.jpg\" height=\"359\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Missed: Tess (R) said:\u00a0&#8216;Our gorgeous Amy Dowden is unwell and she can&#8217;t be with us for the start of the series&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/16\/19\/75510191-12526579-image-a-31_1694888978106.jpg\" height=\"364\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Get well soon: Claudia said: &#8216;Amy from all your Strictly family we are sending all our love and we cannot wait to have you back on the dance floor&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/16\/20\/75512039-12526579-image-m-124_1694892619753.jpg\" height=\"1147\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Talent: Amy joined the BBC series in 2017, and in 2019, was a finalist with TV presenter Karim Zeroual (Pictured in January)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She said: &#8216;So many messages asking me how I&#8217;m coping with the hair loss and I&#8217;m not gonna lie, it is really hard.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Trying to stay positive, she added: &#8216;I think I cry less now. I keep telling myself, &#8220;This too shall pass&#8221;.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>She then admitted: &#8216;This is definitely the hardest part for me personally,&#8217; but said she wasn&#8217;t ready to shave her head.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She said: &#8216;I will get to that point&#8230;
