MANY of us will know that it's all too easy to splash the cash when it comes to beauty products.

But a beauty whizz named Dr Raj Arora has revealed the best go-to skincare routine for those on a budget – including a bargain buy from Boots that costs just £5.

"I've been searching high and low for my favourite skincare ingredients for both AM and PM," she says, in a video shared toTikTok (@drrajarora).

"This is how you can get everything for £50."

Dr Raj begins with the morning routine – more specifically the 'CeraVe hydrating cleanser,' which retails at just £9.

"It's going to help remove dead skin cells from the skin's surface and cleanse the skin and still leave it nice and hydrated," she explains.

The skincare pro then moves onto the second step, which is the toner.

She recommends getting the 'Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution' from The Ordinary, which is an exfoliant targeted at the surface of the skin.

Comes in 0,05% and 0,1%."

Meanwhile, a fourth argued: "Glycolic Acid x 2 a day ??? And also with Vic C in the A.M. ?? Recipe for disaster!"

But Dr Raj replied: "Always build up frequency slowly – most people can tolerate am and pm of an over the counter acid after using for a while."

Most read in Fabulous
