Mutterings from North London suggest that the TV presenter, who filmed Celebs Go Dating for E4 this summer, is in a romance with an eligible divorced millionaire who lives just around the corner from her in St John’s Wood.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It’s not clear whether she met him on the show; and her agent says he has ‘no idea’ about the rumoured liaison.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Spokesmen for Lime Productions, makers of the programme, did not return requests for comment.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It comes after her split from her cheating ex\u00a0Ben Ofoedu\u00a051, in January this year.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on the split as she appears on Celebs Go Dating, the star claimed her weight loss has been a ‘sliver lining,’ of the upset.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Speaking to Woman magazine, she reflected on her heartbreak and detailed how she hope’s the show will restore her confidence.\u00a0<\/p>\n
She said:\u00a0‘I haven’t eaten in months as I’ve been so heartbroken. That’s the silver lining from a broken heart.’<\/p>\n
Vanessa continued: ‘I don’t know if I’m on my A game. I think I look ok. I hope some other people might think so. I’ve had a chequered career in terms of my weight but that’s under control.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘Instead of being grateful that a man flickers his eyes in my direction. I’d like to reach a level of confidence where I think, ‘I’m glad you’ve chosen me but you’re not right.”<\/p>\n

The broadcaster had joined the\u00a0lineup\u00a0in a bid to find love again after her split.<\/p>\n
As she was introduced to the dating show Vanessa briefly chatted about her relationship history after being with Ben for 16 years as she criticised him being unfaithful.<\/p>\n
She said in her intro ahead of the mixer: ‘Once the trust in a relationship has been thoroughly nuked you really can’t get it back again even if you try, and I did try.’<\/p>\n
Vanessa added of her relationship status: ‘I never wanted single life and I don’t like being single, I fear being single.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘I want to invest in someone. I want to invest my completely broken heart into someone.’<\/p>\n
During the first episode Vanessa attended a mixer with the other celebs and was seen chatting to and flirting with a host of men.\u00a0<\/p>\n
It came after last week\u00a0Vanessa admitted she’s a ‘rotten picker’ of men as she revealed she’s been on 13 dates following her\u00a0split from Ben while on the show.<\/p>\n
The star\u00a0confessed that the process has been ‘damn difficult.’<\/p>\n
Speaking to Josie Gibson and Andi Peters on This Morning, Vanessa said that when a date doesn’t go well it is akin to ‘wading through treacle,’ and was tight-lipped on whether she’s kept in touch with any of her male suitors.<\/p>\n
Speaking about her time on the show, Vanessa said: ‘I think dating is damn difficult. I’ve not done it for 17 years. I wouldn’t sit here and pretend it’s a breeze and a blast.<\/p>\n
‘When it’s not going well it’s like wading through treacle. But when you meet someone it can be easy it can be bliss.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘It can be great. It’s just a numbers game isn’t it…\u00a0I have been a rotton picker, I haven’t been good at picking. I thought the agents must be able to do better than I can, they can’t do any worse.’<\/p>\n
Grilled on whether she’s tested any dating snaps, she added: ‘I’ve never done it. I’ve never swiped left and right. I don’t have the apps. I’m hoping someone introduces me to someone nice at some point.’<\/p>\n

Admitting she’d only seen one episode of the show before she signed up, Vanessa laughed off the prospect of a romance with any of her Celebs Go Dating co-stars.<\/p>\n
She added: ‘Am I not old enough to be their mother or grandma – I was doing the maths. I did think gosh I’m a little more vintage and antique than they are.’<\/p>\n
Vanessa revealed she went on 13 dates while appearing on the show, saying: ‘I think if you fancy someone you completely forget there are cameras.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘There was one point where I yelled have we got enough in the can yet? My date looked mortified. The producers said I was tough in parts.’<\/p>\n
