Stassi Schroeder<\/strong> shared her thoughts on Raquel Leviss<\/strong>\u2019 interview with Bethenny Frankel<\/strong> \u2014 and there was one part that rang true to her own experience on Vanderpump Rules<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Stassi, 35, believes Raquel, 28, embellished the truth at some points during the three-part chat with the RHONY<\/em> alum, but she thought the story about Tom Sandoval<\/strong> successfully convincing producers to cut a scene that made him look bad sounded realistic.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat happened all the time on Vanderpump Rules<\/em> when I was there. All the time,\u201d Stassi claimed during the Wednesday, August 23, episode of her \u201cStraight Up With Stassi\u201d podcast. \u201cThere were so many times that I remember crying to producers and being like, \u2018You guys have covered for certain people that have done really dark things \u2014 men \u2014 that I can\u2019t even be in the same room as some of these men, and I\u2019m getting less screen time because of it and I\u2019m willing to get less screen time because of it. I\u2019m willing to film less because this is so unfair and this is so wrong.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Stassi went on to say that she didn\u2019t want to speak out while she was on the show because she was worried about how it could affect other people\u2019s jobs. \u201cI wouldn\u2019t want to shut down a show [where] it\u2019s not just the cast \u2014 it\u2019s the crew, it\u2019s producers,\u201d she explained. \u201cThere\u2019s so many people that work on it and love it. It\u2019ll trickle down to so many people that I\u2019m like, \u2018I\u2019m tougher than this, I can heal on my own,\u2019 and I did. And there are so many other female cast members on Vanderpump Rules<\/em> who have gone through the same thing, where production has covered for the dudes and we\u2019ve just had to heal ourselves.\u201d<\/p>\n

During a lengthy interview last week, Raquel told Bethenny, 52, that she and Sandoval, 41, had an on-camera conversation about the private video of her that some of their castmates allegedly saw. According to Raquel, however, Sandoval demanded that the scene be cut from the season 10 finale, which aired in May.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Tom and I were filming at my apartment, after filming got picked back up, I said to Tom, \u2018How can I trust you? You filmed me without my consent.\u2019 And he admitted to it,\u201d Raquel claimed. \u201cBut then after that scene wrapped, he said, \u2018Why did you say that? Why did you say that on camera? You made me look bad.\u2019 And I was like, \u2018Well, because that\u2019s what happened.\u2019 \u2026 He ended up boycotting filming the rest of Scandoval so that he could have editing rights to that scene to take out that specific [scene].\u201d<\/p>\n

Bravo denied Raquel\u2019s story, telling Us Weekly<\/em> in a statement: \u201cTom Sandoval was never offered a producer credit on season 11, and had absolutely no creative control over any editing during any season of Vanderpump Rules<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stassi left Pump Rules<\/em> after season 8, but she thought Raquel\u2019s story was believable based on things that happened in the past.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was a straight up truth I know that [Raquel] told because it\u2019s happened before,\u201d Stassi claimed. \u201cThe fact that Sandoval was able to get away with it again was just like, f\u2013k. But I also understand that producers have a job to do. They want to get him to film more, so if that\u2019s what they have to do [they\u2019ll do it]. It\u2019s so dark. It\u2019s such a f\u2013ked up way of working, but I understand why they have to do it sometimes.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Raquel told the story last week, Bethenny also claimed she\u2019d witnessed similar occurrences during her time on The Real Housewives of New York City<\/em>. \u201cI\u2019ve seen that happen before,\u201d said Bethenny, who starred on RHONY<\/em> off and on from 2008 to 2019.<\/p>\n
