{"id":81848,"date":"2023-08-11T13:04:37","date_gmt":"2023-08-11T13:04:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/happylifestyleinc.com\/?p=81848"},"modified":"2023-08-11T13:04:37","modified_gmt":"2023-08-11T13:04:37","slug":"mum-trolled-over-tattoo-dedicated-to-local-butchers-but-is-rewarded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/happylifestyleinc.com\/lifestyle\/mum-trolled-over-tattoo-dedicated-to-local-butchers-but-is-rewarded\/","title":{"rendered":"Mum trolled over tattoo dedicated to local butchers \u2013 but is rewarded"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> A woman called out trolls who labelled her &quot;crazy&quot; for her recent tattoo.<\/p>\n<p>Julie Turner decided to get an inking dedicated to Malcolm Michaels Quality Butchers in Leeds. <\/p>\n<p>The 52-year-old is a loyal customer of the butchers which she visits &quot;every day&quot; at Crossgates Shopping Centre.<\/p>\n<p><b>READ MORE: &apos;I&apos;m jobless with 800 tattoos \u2013 I asked strangers to hire me and response was shocking&apos;<\/b><\/p>\n<p>She buys her fresh pork pies, sandwich fillings and cheeses, reports LeedsLive.<\/p>\n<p>Now the mum-of-two decided to get inked on August 6 while she was on holiday in Scarborough. <\/p>\n<p>The tattoo reads: &quot;Malcolm Michaels Butchers No1,&quot; on her upper left leg.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article30681422.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/0_LEE_Julie-Turner-03.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>While she was overjoyed to dedicate the inking to the &quot;friendly butchers&quot;, some people have been nasty about it.<\/p>\n<p>But despite all, her inking to the butchers has won her a \u00a350 goody bag. <\/p>\n<p>Julie revealed: &quot;Some people said &apos;You&apos;re crazy! You&apos;re mad!&apos; and all that, stuff like that. <\/p>\n<p>&quot;I&apos;ve just told them it&apos;s my body and I can have whatever tattoo on me that I like.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>The mum claimed the idea for the tattoo came about after she was joking around with the lads at the shop. <\/p>\n<p>She already has a number of tattoos across her body, including one which says &quot;Love me for who I am&quot; on her left arm.<\/p>\n<p>Julie then thought about getting a Malcolm Michaels tattoo to compliment the ones she already had.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article30681432.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/0_LEE_Julie-Turner-01.jpg\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<figure data-mod=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article30679836.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s458\/0_MAINSOCIAL.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p> &apos;I was too hot to date \u2013 now I&apos;ve found love with only bloke who didn&apos;t hit on me&apos;<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/@trinitymirrordigital\/chameleon-branding\/publications\/dailystar\/img\/logo-schema-dailystar.png\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>One of them jokingly dared her to do it, not thinking much of it at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Julie continued: &quot;They&apos;re such a friendly bunch. They have laughs and jokes. It&apos;s such a fun friendly butchers.&quot; <\/p>\n<p>Malcolm Michaels Quality Butchers opened in the East Leeds shopping centre in May last year.<\/p>\n<p>It became Leeds&apos; most popular butchers with more than 31,000 followers on Facebook and 5,000 fans on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>Talking about the inking, co-owner Malcolm said: &quot;I learned about it through our group text with the shop. <\/p>\n<p>&quot;I must admit, I was shocked to say the least. <\/p>\n<p>&quot;Many of our friends got Leeds United tattoos and tattoos of their heroes, and all sorts of things big in their lives.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;It&apos;s an honour, a tribute but it&apos;s a big call.&quot; <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article30681545.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/0_LEE_Malcolm-LearyJPG.jpg\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<figure data-mod=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article30678801.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s458\/0_Hugh-Hefners-girlfriends-cheated-on-him-with-Playboy-Mansion-staff.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p> Hugh Hefner\u2019s butler claims girlfriends &apos;bonked Playboy Mansion staff behind his back&apos;<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/@trinitymirrordigital\/chameleon-branding\/publications\/dailystar\/img\/logo-schema-dailystar.png\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After Julie got the tattoo, Malcolm launched a competition on his Facebook page.<\/p>\n<p>The butchers want to see if anyone will also show their dedication for a \u00a350 goody bag of their products. <\/p>\n<p>Since no one could match Julie&apos;s commitment, she ended up taking the prize.<\/p>\n<p>The co-owner said: &quot;If anyone else who is considering getting a Malcolm Michaels tattoo, they&apos;re more than welcome to get the logo, the name or any tributes \u2013 but please don&apos;t get a portrait of me! <\/p>\n<p>&quot;It won&apos;t look good.
