Big Brother<\/em> season 25 contestant Luke Valentine<\/strong> is catching heat from fans after he dropped the N-word during a recent live feed.<\/p>\n Valentine, 30, let the word slip during a conversation with fellow houseguests Cory Wurtenberger<\/strong>, Hisam Goueli<\/strong> and Jared Fields<\/strong> on Wednesday, August 9. \u201cWe\u2019re in the f\u2014king G\u2019s room, n\u2013ga!\u201d he said in a clip of the moment shared via TikTok, after which he covered his mouth with his hand and corrected himself by saying \u201cdude.\u201d<\/p>\n Valentine\u2019s language prompted surprised stares from Wurtenberger, 21, and Goueli, 45. He proceeded to apologize to the group and directly to Fields, who is Black. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t what you thought I was [going to say.] I was gonna call him a narwhale [sic],\u201d Valentine told Fields, who said he didn\u2019t care about his\u00a0use of the word.<\/p>\n Later on in the live feed, Valentine and Fields poked fun at their castmates\u2019 strong reactions to the comment. \u201cI should have made you feel uncomfortable real quick, like, \u2018Whoa, bro. What you just say?\u2019\u201d Fields joked before adding, \u201cI don\u2019t give a f\u2014k.\u201d<\/p>\n Some fans of the CBS reality series, however, did not take as kindly to Valentine\u2019s language. \u201cI feel so embarrassed for him, like he really needs to get up and just leave,\u201d one person wrote via X (formerly known as Twitter) on Wednesday, while another stated, \u201cAnd \u2014 as per usual on this show \u2014 nobody called him out!!!\u201d<\/p>\n Tagging the show\u2019s official X account, another user tweeted on Wednesday, \u201cSooooooooo what are we gonna do about this??????\u201d<\/p>\n CBS and the show\u2019s producers addressed the incident in a statement to Us Weekly<\/em> on Wednesday: \u201cLuke violated the Big Brother<\/em> code of conduct and there is zero tolerance in the house for using a racial slur. He has been removed from the house. In 2013, houseguest Aaryn Gries<\/strong> made racist and homophobic comments on air, some of which were directed at castmate Helen Kim<\/strong>. In addition to telling Kim to \u201cgo make some rice,\u201d Gries, now 32, joked that she, herself, looked like a \u201csquinty Asian.\u201d<\/p>\n Host Julie Chen Moonves<\/strong> \u2014 who has Chinese and Burmese heritage \u2014 later spoke out against Gries\u2019 remarks on a July 2013 episode of The Talk<\/em>. \u201cWhen I found out that Aaryn, who is a 22-year-old girl, made anti-gay, anti-black and anti-Asian comments, I have to be honest, the Asian ones hit me the most,\u201d Chen Moonves, 53, said at the time. \u201cI heard about her describing Asians as \u2018squinty-eyed\u2019 and \u2018go make a bowl of rice.\u2019 It stung. I took it personally. I\u2019m a human being.\u201d<\/p>\n After being confronted by Chen Mooves about her language on the show, Gries was eliminated and apologized before leaving the house. \u201cBeing Southern, it is a stereotype and I have said some things that have been taken completely out of context and wrong.
