I paid just £10.70 for a luxury holiday to Ibiza – here is how I did it

A WOMAN managed to blag a luxury package holiday to Ibiza for just £10.70 – and this is how she did it.

Dolly Millard, from Hertfordshire, explained how she paid just over a tenner for a four-night break at a 4* Siau Ibiza Hotel – with return flights – at the Spanish holiday hotspot.

And it's all to do with the Jet2 campaign where you can bid for a holiday, with the lowest unique bid price winning the deal.

She said: "I have been entering the auction for a few weeks now, so it is fantastic to finally place a successful bid and secure a holiday to Ibiza with Jet2holidays for just £10.70.

"The week I placed the successful bid, I happened to be on holiday with Jet2holidays and nearly forgot to get involved.

"I am so glad I remembered, as it clearly paid off. I would urge everyone to give it a go. You’ve got to be in it to win it, after all!”

To take part, customers need to decide on the price they want to pay and place a bid.

If they are the only user to bid that amount and that amount is the lowest, they will buy the holiday for that price.

Bids open at 9am every Monday, with different locations to bid on until Thursday, with winners announced that day.

She isn't the first person to get a bargain, with the biggest winner being Lynn Marriott – who got a seven-night holiday in Crete for just 2p.

She said: "I’m absolutely over the moon to have bought a holiday with Jet2holidays for just 2p.

"It will feel fantastic being on holiday and knowing that I have paid just a couple of pence for it.”

Darlington-based David Leitch paid £10.61 for seven nights in Turkey with his family, while Fionna Siddons, from West Yorkshire, bid just £1.60 for a seven-night holiday to Santorini with Jet2 – and won.

Even if you aren't successful, all applicants will get a discount code for £100 off their holidays with Jet2.
