Millie Court and Liam Reardon managed to overcome many challenges while in the Love Island villa. This included Liam's head being briefly turned by Lillie Haynes, who 'childishly' reacted to their win, in Casa Amor.

Now that they are out in the real world, the winners of the ITV show will have a different set of challenges.

Match’s dating expert, Hayley Quinn believes they've got what it takes from watching their behaviour in the Majorca villa.

"It’s clear they already have strengths as a couple. Although Liam strayed in Casa Amor, he seemed genuinely repentant when he came back to Millie and pledged to be committed to her and their relationship. Being able to make a full apology and to accept responsibility for your actions are two cornerstones of having an honest, loving relationship.

"Millie also showed that she's able to hold her own boundaries, by not immediately caving in to Liam's apology and by asserting herself she also showed a healthy share of self-respect. Again, as much as a couple has to thrive together, both individuals have to have good sense of self-esteem."

While Hayley also points out they have strong foundation. "Millie and Liam's friendship is also a real asset to their chances of surviving in the outside world.

"Millie's outgoing Essex charm is a perfect match for the stoical Welshman! They have fun together, are never at a loss for things to talk about, and past the obvious physical attraction, they get on brilliantly as people."

However the couple, who are currently isolating separately, need to be able to talk in order to keep their relationship healthy.

"In order for this couple to start something real, they'll need to keep up the honest communication they currently share."

While an ability to "not take things too seriously" will help them to survive.

The temptation to share everything on social media will be strong, as fans have invested in their relationship and they may want to continue to let them see.

But Hayley warns that shouldn't "just live out the rest of this relationship on Instagram." Instead they will need to "keep working on developing the friendship that has helped them navigate the pitfalls they've experienced so far in private."

She concludes, "Hopefully they won't be too wooed by their new celebrity status and will stay the grounded, gorgeous couple we all fell in love with." We hope so too – long live Lillie – oh maybe that's not the best couple name. Long live Miam it is!
