With most in stores this week, you will need to be quick to bag one.
- Bottle it: Aldi’s much-hyped Wine Advent Calendar launches in-store and online today and comes with 24 mini bottles ranging from 187ml to 200ml for £49.99. It works out at just £2.08 per bottle and 4.8 litres of wine inside. This is a big saving when compared to the Virgin Wines Calendar, £79.99, or £3.33 per bottle for the same volume. SAVING: £30
- Get crafty: Iceland’s Craft Beer Advent Calendar is just £40. This contains 24 cans and bottles between 330ml and 500ml — adding up to a whopping ten litres of beer and £1.67 per can or bottle. This is a huge saving when compared with Best of British Beer’s Christmas Tree Advent Calendar, £85, containing 24 330ml bottles. That’s £3.50 a bottle — over twice the price of Iceland’s. - Let the fun be-gin: Aldi’s 12 Gins of Christmas calendar comes with a dozen 5cl measures of gin and 12 150ml bottles of tonic, for £34.99. That’s £1.45 per G&T. Iceland own version is on sale from November 19, priced at £58 (£2.42 per miniature). SAVING: £23.01
