Touch people’s shoulders, stand up straight and flirt with EVERYONE: Dating guru reveals how to make anyone fancy you in SECONDS

WITH Valentine’s Day just around the corner, singletons are looking for quick ways to find 'The One'.

James Preece, also known as The Dating Guru, believes anyone can become instantly more attractive by following 10 incredibly easy tips.

From standing tall to wearing lipstick, he told The Sun Online these hacks can make someone fancy you in seconds.

1. Stand tall

Good posture is a sign of confidence and status.

Confidence inspires trust, makes you look more approachable and makes you more likeable – so no slouching.

2. Wear lipstick

Red lipstick instantly makes women more attractive.

Red is associated with passion and romance. Plus, it’s symbolises glamour.

3. Smile

It instantly lights up the face and makes you appear happy and successful.

Nobody likes negative people so if you look positive others will be drawn to you.

4. Touch often

If you talking to someone you like, try and touch them on the arm and shoulders.

This shows them that you like them and breaks down the distance barrier.

Don't be afraid to touch yourself, too.

Smoothing your hair down or putting your fingers on your lips are classic flirting gestures.

5. 'Do I know you?'

Treat everyone you meet like a long lost friend.

That gets rid of initial nerves for you both and you'll seem warm and friendly immediately.

6. Imitate

If you want someone to like you , you must first try to match their vocal tone and mood.

If you start with that, they will subliminally feel more comfortable with you.

You could try mirroring their body language too, but don't go overboard.

How to survive Valentine’s Day when you’re single

"Valentine’s Day is a brilliant time if you are single," James told The Sun Online.

"You can use the time to do something special and to appreciate the most important person in your life – You!

"There are lots of singles events on at this time of year so why not round up your single friends and attend one.

"You never know who might be there and if nothing else, you’ll have a fun night out."

He added: "Also, it’s a great time to go online and contact other singles.

"They’ll be feeling a bit lonely so if you can cheer them up there’s a good chance you’ll be able to secure lots of dates.

"Finally, remember it’s just one day.  You have the rest of the year to look forward to and the new opportunities that may come."
