Are expiry dates sacred? Not when it comes to EpiPen allergy injectors, it seems.

The United States Food and Drug Administration extended the expiration date of specific lots of EpiPen allergy injectors by four months. Reuters reported this in August, saying it was to combat shortage of the life-saving treatment.
