The young couple next door share a wall with me. They’re really noisy and have parties late into the night.

My underwear kept disappearing from my line. It turned out to be them, pulling things off just to wind me up.
One day I got so upset, I threatened to tell the council about them. But they said they would report me as an antisocial neighbour.
DEIDRE SAYS: Living next to awful neighbours can feel overwhelming due to their constant proximity.
But it is worth trying to get on with them first. Try a “clear the air” chat with them, asking politely if they could keep the noise down.
If this fails, talk to citizensadvice.org.uk.
They are trespassing by entering your garden uninvited and could be given an Antisocial Behaviour Order for making too much noise.
