A mum has drawn up a timetable for her kids who she's homeschooling during the coronavirus pandemic.
On Facebook’s Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, she outlined her schedule for the day.
In the morning, she prepared for PE sessions, followed by English and maths.
And after a break for lunch, activities like life skills, puzzles, arts and crafts and outdoor learning are listed.
While these notes help her to keep her children’s learning on track, she couldn’t resist adding some funny notes for herself.
At 3pm each day, the mum admitted that she’d been left feeling “done” and “needing a cuppa”.
On Monday she celebrates getting the “job done”, but she’s less optimistic about the rest of the week.
The end of Tuesday’s school day reads “mum quits” – and on Wednesday afternoon “mum needs a cuppa”.
Mum feels “done” by 3pm on Thursday, but thankfully doesn’t have to wait long for “FriYAY.”
Despite the parent’s reservations, she seems to be doing a great job of keeping her children busy while they’re in isolation.
She admits she may not feel as motivated in a few days time, but she’s definitely made a good start.
On Facebook, the mum wrote: “I survived day one of home schooling.
“Few sites used and it really was smooth (thank goodness).
“Ask me in a week though!
“If anyone has any other sites, will you please add them in the comments. Perfect time to come together.”
The post racked up dozens of comments and more than 400 likes.
One responder wrote: “Your bit for 3pm had me laughing I must admit haha.”
Another said: “Go you! Loving the life skill section too.”
And a third added: “Well done you for having a timetable.
“Structure is so important for children and adults.”
