With summer just around the corner, men and women across Australia are looking for quick fixes to whip their bodies into shape before the hot weather arrives.

And while transforming your physique takes time and dedication, one group of driven individuals have proven that with a little determination, results can be found in as little as nine weeks.

Men and women from the Body Breakthrough Challenge at Vision Personal Training debuted their impressive new bodies after less than three months of working hard and eating well.

The winners in both categories lost up to ten kilograms of fat off their bodies, and they also gained muscle and reduced their bio-age.

So what did the winners do to change their bodies?

How did the Vision clients change their bodies? 

* Two one-on-one personal training sessions per week.

* As many group sessions as they liked.

* Eating clean and a personalised nutrition programme, based on macronutrients of fat, carbohydrates and protein.

* 70 per cent of results are food related. 

Typically, the men and women would engage in two personal training sessions per week, as well as as many group sessions as they liked to take part in.

‘The two one-on-one sessions allow your trainer to keep you accountable and on track to reach your goals,’ a Vision personal trainer told Daily Mail Australia.

They coupled this with a specially-devised diet to suit their needs.

‘A Vision PT will work with you to find out your macronutrient needs for carbohydrates, protein and fat, and they will develop a plan based on your goals and food preferences.

‘We tell our clients that 70 per cent of their results are food related, so you need to think about that when doing the challenge.’

The female winner of the body fat loss challenge was mother-of-two Jane Allan, 39, from Takapuna in New Zealand. 

She lost 9.8 kilograms in the challenge as well as 6.4 per cent of her overall body fat.

The male winner in this category was 37-year-old Brandon Quinn, from Prahan in Victoria, who lost nine per cent of his overall body fat.

Since joining the Vision gym, he has lost 45 kilograms of weight.

When it came to muscle gain, Bala Kuraba, 32, from New South Wales, lost 20 kilograms in six months. 

In the past nine weeks, he also increased his lean muscle mass by 2.8 kilograms and lost 9.3 kilograms of fat.

The female winner, Danni-Elle Knowles, 50, increased her lean muscle mass by 1.3 kilograms and lost an impressive 9.8 kilograms of fat.

Speaking to FEMAIL, Danni-Elle said: ‘The one-on-one support during the Body Breakthrough Challenge allowed me to tweak my nutrition, so I didn’t need to cut out food. I was able to supplement one food for something else.

‘Throughout the nine weeks of training, I knew I had support. I could go to any trainer and say: “Hey, I’m struggling”, and they would help.’

The last category of winners fell into the bio-age reduction categories.

Meanwhile, the female winner was Nic Baker, a 46-year-old mother from Mona Vale, NSW, and she reduced her bio-age from 44 to 41 years in the challenge. 

Head of Vision Personal Training Operations, Gavin Aquilina, said: ‘We created a challenge that doesn’t reward extreme calorie deficit and overexercising. 

‘Instead, we’re celebrating those who can maintain or increase muscle mass as well as lose fat, which is only possible with a proper nutrition plan and commitment to exercise. 

‘It’s the most rewarding thing as a Personal Trainer to literally see years fall off your clients’ bio-age — they look and feel younger with a healthy approach to health and fitness.’
