The stars were out in full glam last night for the OK!-sponsored National Television Awards 2021, but winning in the beauty stakes is Maya Jama, who debuted a fringe hair transformation in a series of glamorous behind-the-scenes snaps.

The 27 year old, who usually wears her dark tresses down in long layers, switched up her look for the event. She opted instead for a choppy fringe, with loose tendrils framing her face perfectly. Her bun also delivered some serious 1990s vibes, with the hair pulled back into an undone chignon.

The presenter showed off her look on her Instagram page, before posing for professional photos on the red carpet.

"Okay but you already won so what’s the point?" asked one Instagram fan, while another commented: "You've won and you haven't even touched the carpet yet."

A third spoke for all of us when they said: "I now want bangs but I'm worried I wouldn't look like that."

Other fans commented on her "glowing" skin, asking how it was possible to look so flawless. Maya posted a funny Instagram Story the morning of the NTAs, showing herself in a pair of her own brand of MIJ Hydrogel Eye Patches. We imagine these will be helping her tired eyes again this morning!

Maya has been trying out a few new hair looks in recent months, surprising her followers with a blonde transformation a few months ago. The fresh blonde look even had her considering a name for her new alter-ego.

"So I obviously couldn't take a picture and went for a video instead, but I love it! I think this might be me now huns, what's my new name? Lena! Don't know why that name came to my mind, but bloody hell I actually look like a whole new b***h – who is she?"

The star also took to her Instagram feed to share a very short clip of herself with her new blonde 'do, showing off the gorgeous waves cascading down her shoulders.

Maya has also previously shown off a fringe look, debuting the style in JD Christmas campaign.

“I love your hair like this,” one fan wrote at the time. “Loving the fringe,” another said.

We wonder if all this fan attention will have Maya making the fringe look a permanent feature!
