Inside ‘spiritual healing’ spa day Ant McPartlin gifted his hungover wedding guests

Ant McPartlin paid for guests to enjoy an array of beauty and wellbeing treatments during his exclusive wedding to Anne-Marie Corbett in Hampshire on Saturday.

The newlywed television presenter, 45, reportedly spent around £500,000 on the wedding to his 43-year-old former personal assistant, with £100,000 spent on accommodating around 100 revellers at luxury hotel Heckfield Place for two nights.

Thanks to the groom's generosity, guests were treated to a range of beauty and wellbeing treatments, including £125 spiritual healing reiki sessions, £180 massages, and £100 manicures and pedicures.

The unusual reiki treatment paid for by the I’m A Celebrity host is a physical, emotional and spiritual treatment that “aids the body’s natural healing process and helps to develop welfare, induces deep relaxation allowing you to improve your overall wellbeing,”according to the hotel’s website .

The couple tied the knot at St Michael’s Church in Heckfield in front of a star-studded guestlist that included Ant’s best man and co-presenter Declan Donnelly; television presenters Phillip Schofield, Patrick Kielty and wife Cat Deeley, Dermot O’Leary, Christine Lampard, and her footballer husband Frank; singer Alesha Dixon; and comedian David Walliams.

The spa treatments went down a storm with guests, many of whom took to Instagram to share positive messages about the occasion.

Phillip Schofield said the ceremony was "amazing" and "great fun" as he left the church and he also commented ona celebratory post shared by Ant and Dec’s official Instagram account: "That was such a wonderful day, so happy the sun shone on you both. Congratulations and thank you!"

Cat Deeley also commented, "What a beautiful day" along with four red love hearts.

Even those who couldn’t make the ceremony shared positive messages of support with the couple, including Amanda Holden, who was on holiday with her family.

Hours before the wedding she posted on her Instagram story: “So sorry we will miss @antanddec special day…we are still away sending our love and huge congratulations to Ant & Amzie on this amazing day..”

The Britain’s Got Talent presenter has described his new wife Anne-Marie as his “rock” after she helped him through his drink-driving arrest and stint in rehab in 2018.

McPartlin established his relationship with Anne-Marie after separating from make-up artist Lisa Armstrong, his wife of 11 years, in January 2018.

While most people were nothing but happy for the couple,the presenter’s ex wife couldn’t help but take a swipe at her former husband as he celebrated his special day .
