DEAR DEIDRE: I SEEM to have completely lost my sex drive and can’t get an erection any more.
My wife and I are in our sixties and have been married for 40 years. We used to have a good sex life, so the present situation is particularly distressing for us.
When I try to have sex with her now, it’s like I freeze and nothing happens.
It’s miserable for both of us and we end up frustrated.
I know there is Viagra but what I would really like is for sex together to be natural, not governed by a pill.
I feel there must be something I can do rather than just giving up on sex altogether.
