Hop on a cheery Easter trend & check out great value wreaths to decorate your door

EASTER wreaths are all the rage this year – but I was shocked to see one selling for £175.

The circular decoration can really add some spring colour alongside the bunnies and fluffy chicks, but there is no need to spend big. Check out these great-value ideas . . .

DIY DREAMS: Get a woven wreath that you can adorn yourself for £2 at Tesco. Or head to Hobbycraft for a rattan wreath foundation for £3.50. If you have a wreath from Christmas, you might be able to update it with some fresh spring touches.

DECORATIONS: Packs of flower decorations are just £1 at Tesco. Head to Poundland for Easter nest decorations (six for £1) or the classic tiny fluffy chicks (18 for £1). Wilko has a bunny and chick four-pack for £1.

PASTEL PERFECTION: For pre-made wreaths, you can’t go wrong with Poundland’s £3 version, decorated with pastel eggs. Argos has a lovely pom-pom bunny-shaped variety for £8. If you’re lucky, you might be able to hop on the viral trend and nab the bunny-shaped floral one from Home Bargains for just £6.99.

LIGHT UP: Take things to the next level with an illuminated wreath. You can get bunny-shaped versions for £6.99 at Amazon. However, Dunelm has bunny-shaped string lights, £6.40 down from £8, which you could drape around your home-made effort.

CHEEP ’N’ CHIC: Muted tones in one colour are so on trend. Check Pinterest for inspiration and make your own decorations by blowing eggs, painting them white and using white flowers, string or pom-poms (£1.50 a pack at The Range).
