Holly Willoughby fans outraged as she works out in £200 outfit: ‘It’s too expensive’

We have been missing Holly Willoughby on our screens on This Morning whilst she has taken a two week break from filming to record her new BBC show.

When it comes to the 40-year-old we know we are always guaranteed an array of super stylish outfits, whether that's a daily office-inspired ensemble or red carpet glam on Dancing On Ice.

However, during her absence from the show, the mum-of-three disappointed her fans as she posed for a snap during a workout and shared where her outfit was from.

In the picture Holly is seen sitting cross-legged on a yoga mat, sporting a grey zip up hoody and a pair of black leggings.

The zen post was captioned with: "Whether you're hitting the gym, walking the dog, or pottering around the house, join our Style Editor @danniiwhiteman for the perfect wardrobe refresh and select the perfect 'wellnesswear' for the year ahead, whatever speed you may be going!"

It was then shared that the cost ensemble was from much-loved activewear brand Lululemon and together costs a staggering £196.

After seeing the prices, fans immediately took to the comment section of the post and made sure to voice their disappointed feelings.

One user responded by saying: "Sooo expensive, shame they don't cater for all budgets."

A second followed with: "Too expensive for clothes you run just run about in not worth [email protected]"

Whilst another added: "I do love Holly and this new venture/insta etc, LOVE! BUT these items aren’t ever something I will purchase on my nhs midwife wage, let alone other people out there right now struggling during difficult financial times!"

All is not lost as in the post, Holly's stylist Danielle Whiteman also shared some more affordable activewear options from high street brands.

The first being a great black long sleeve crop top from Marks and Spencer which costs just £17.50, a dusky pink sports bra from Ghost London which costs £39 and a navy split back yoga vest top from Sweaty Betty for £55.

Another Instagram user said: "You look so lovely but the price tag is unrealistic & unaffordable for many. Seems a shame you don’t share items that are accessible for all budgets."

This is something which Holly has recently come under fire with especially with her outfits on This Morning which can sometimes total to over £1000.

Holly once had the title of 'Queen of the high street', however she occasionally swaps the affordable price tags for designer pieces.
