For those growing up in the 90s, you’ll likely remember the twins Melanie and Martina Grant from the hit kids game show, Fun House.
Alongside their sidekick Pat Sharp, the girls were the epitome of entertainment as they spent years showing off their cheerleading skills on primetime TV.
The premise of the show saw two teams compete against each other to enter the final game, called the funhouse, where they had the chance to win prizes on the way through.
While Melanie supported the red team, Martina was on the yellow team, and together, the pair provided 10 years of fun for children all around the country.
But what are they up to all these years later, after the show went off air back in 1999?
Well, thanks to the internet, the twins weren’t very hard to track down, and it looks as though they’re still making money from their time in the spotlight with personal appearances and such.
Their website, ‘funhousetwins,’ allows fans who never got the chance to appear on the show to experience their own private version, as the twins are available to hire for private parties, corporate events and more.
“Melanie and Martina, know how to have fun – they bring the party with them wherever they go and are attentive hostesses who can help organisers make sure the party goes with a bang,” their site reads.
“When not partying, Mel and Martina dream about being on Strictly, Dancing on Ice or I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! – after that it’s a pretty normal life looking after kids, going on the school run and going out to PARTY for themselves.”
As well as their website, yellow team twin Martina is pretty active on Instagram, and she can be found under @funhouseyellowtwin1.
Her whole grid follows the Fun House theme she’s known for, and features a fair few throwbacks plus snaps of them alongside Pat at recent Fun House events.
But most recently, the three reunited again (well, sort of) back in 2020, when Pat appeared on This Morning to promote his book, Re-Run the Fun: My Life As Pat Sharp.
While chatting to Holly and Phil, Melanie and Martina (who looked ageless) popped up to congratulate their former co-star in a pre-recorded message.
"Hi Pat, hi Phil, Hi Holly, I'm one of the twins from Fun House but Pat you know that anyway,” Martina said.
“Just flicked through the book to find my name, but who doesn't do that."
Melanie added: "Hope it all goes well, bye."
