Emmerdale fans might only just be keeping up with the villages interwoven connections and relationships on-screen.
However, there is as much to keep up with on-screen as many of the show's biggest stars keep it in the family and share the silver screen with their real-life family members.

Jill and Chelsea Halfpenny
Chelsea Halfpenny made her name playing Amy Wyatt in the Dales until 2013 when she left to pursue other acting projects.
In 2019 she played Alicia Munroe in Casualty before landing a part in the West End show, 9 to 5.
Chelsea shares her surname with EastEnders actress Jill Halfpenny because she is actually the Strictly star's niece.
For even more soapland connections, Chelsea has been dating her former Emmerdale co-star, Jake Doland actor James Baxter, for nearly three years.
Charley Webb and Jamie Lomas
Charley Webb has been playing Debbie Dingle in Emmerdale for the past 18 years and is is married to her Emmerdale co-star Matthew Wolfenden with whom she shares three sons.
But her brother is also a soap star and none other than Jamie Lomas who played Warren Fox in Hollyoaks until 2011, before jumping ship to EastEnders to play Jake Stone.
The siblings share an incredibly close bond, with Jamie walking his sister down the aisle on her wedding day to Matthew.
To add another soap connection into the mix, Jamie was previously partner to Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh.
Adam Thomas and Ryan Thomas
Ryan Thomas played Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street until 2016.
Meanwhile, Ryan’s brother Adam was over on Emmerdale playing Adam Barton until last year.
There is also a third brother, Scott Thomas, who appeared on Love Island.
All three of the brothers starred in their own show alongside their late dad called Absolutely India: Mancs in Mumbai which aired earlier this year.
The Walsh sisters
Amy Walsh has made Tracy Metcalfe a fan favourite over on Emmerdale, featuring in some big storylines since her arrival in 2014.
However, as well as being sister to Girls Aloud singer Kimberly Walsh – there is a third Walsh whose face was seen on screen before either of them.

The eldest Walsh sister Sally was first to grace our screens in the Dales as a teenager back in 1997 playing schoolgirl Lyn Hutchinson until 2000.
Sally Walsh has since appeared as bit parts in both Coronation Street and Eastenders.
Meanwhile, their brother Adam also dabbled in acting and appeared in Heartbeat in 1993.
Speaking to the Sun Online, Amy said: “It was a bit like Fame in our house.
“Every morning before school Sally and Kimberley would rehearse their own little shows and my mum was a music teacher, so she’d be accompanying them on the piano."
