New Year’s Eve wasn’t the only thing that had Demi Lovato in a celebratory mood Monday. The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer marked the holiday by rededicating herself to remaining sober.

Lovato, who was hospitalized five months ago for an apparent drug overdose, kept her evening low key with a simple glass of Martinelli’s sparkling apple cider, seemingly trading in a big NYE bash for a simple and sweet moment at home.

The singer and actress posted the photo of her celebratory drink on her Instagram stories, writing “#sobriety” on the picture.

Earlier in the day, she posted a message to her fans on her Instagram story.

“So grateful for the lessons I’ve learned this year,” Lovato wrote. “I will never take another day in life for granted, even the bad ones.”

“Thankful for my fans, friends, family and everyone who supported me through this year,” she continued. “God bless.”

Back in October, Lovato’s mother Dianna De La Garza praised her daughter reaching the milestone of being sober for 90 days. “I couldn’t be more thankful or more proud of her because addiction being a disease, it’s work,” her mother said.
