After 25 Years, Sarah Jessica Parker Reveals Her Favorite Part of Filming Hocus Pocus

Sarah Jessica Parker is most well-known for Sex and the City, but long before she stepped into Carrie Bradshaw’s iconic Manolos, she was busy sucking the life out of children with Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy in a little film called Hocus Pocus.

The 1993 movie has since become a beloved cult hit, especially around Halloween. “I don’t have a lot of memories of [Hocus Pocus],” she laughed. “I remember the filming of it, I just don’t remember what the movie is about as much. I’ve only seen it [a few times] . . . apparently my character is not very bright. She’s not very bright. She can fly and sing, and I think I liked to kill children.”
