Orange chocolate is on trend right now.
Earlier this week, we brought you the news the Cadbury orange Twirl is back and now Toblerone is launching its own citrus-flavour bar.
Orange Twist bars bring together swiss milk chocolate, candied orange peel, ginger and honey and almond nougat.
The new flavour is already available at Tesco both in-store and online and is set to be rolled out at other stores in the next few weeks.
The 360g bars usually costs £4.50 but are on offer for £4 at Tesco until 8 September.
Newfoodsuk posted pictures of the bars on the shelves at the supermarket and said: ‘Orange Twist Toblerone at Tesco! Yes, another orange product, however, we do love orange flavoured chocolate, so win win!!’
Fans of the triangular-shaped chocolate were excited to try the new fruity flavour.
One said: ‘OMGGGG 2020 the year of the orange.’
Another added: ‘It’s an absolute must find.’
Someone else said: ‘As a chocolate orange lover all these new products are really killing me.’
A few people said they were missing their friends in the office because they loved sharing these new treats with them.
One said: ‘This is what I miss the most about not being in the office! The discovery and discussion of new chocolate bars or biscuits.’
Some said they weren’t so sure about the combination.
‘Don’t know how I feel about this but it’s would be rude not to try right?’ another comment said.
Someone else pointed out that the packaging is very similar so make sure you double check the flavour when picking up a bar.
Other big orange products this month include Cadbury Fingers and Giant Chocolate Buttons bringing out a citrus twist on the original products.
