Thai street food stall sells 12-inch-long chips covered in rainbow cheese

If you happen to find yourself in Thailand and want to indulge in some amazing food, we have found the place for you.

A Thai street food stall in Bangkok is selling 12-inch-long French fries covered in rainbow cheese.

Footage from the vendor shows the savoury snack being deep-fried and covered with generous amounts of colourful savoury cheese sauce before being served to a customer.

To make the dish, it appears that the potato is pressed through the machine and dipped into the boiling oil.

Each serving of the snack costs 59 baht (£1.35).

Even better is that each colour is a different flavour. For example, the purple is sweet-potato cheese flavour and the pink is barbecue cheese sauce.

The yellow is plain cheese sauce, green is seaweed and orange is pizza flavour cheese sauce.

Other flavours of the sauces include paprika and sweet corn.

The Overlong Yujin fry shop also sells fries with various flavours such as pizza, corn and wasabi and the stall is open every day from 6pm to 12am.

Owner Khun Yujin opened the store last year and says she was inspired by a trip to Japan.

‘I started doing the fries recently and they have been popular because of how unusual they are,’ she explains.

‘They are big so customers can add many different sauces on top.

‘They like to try them all.’
