Primark launches exclusive Greggs collaboration with pastry-based clothes

Love Greggs more than life itself?

Well, now you can show the world just how hard you stan Steak Bakes with this new clothing collection.

Greggs and Primark have announced a first-of-its-kind collaboration, that is sure to take the high street by storm.

In a hint to the partnership, fashion mannequins at a number of Primark stores were mysteriously spotted with Vegan Sausage Rolls and Steak Bakes as part of window and in-store displays over the weekend.

At the same time, a Primark receipt discretely showing items from the Greggs menu also appeared across social media channels shared with an inquisitive emoji.

Now, the brands have officially announced the partnership in a video shared across their social media channels, revealing a new clothing range and ‘Tasty by Greggs’ unique café experience.

As part of the collaboration Primark’s Birmingham store will now host the world’s  largest Greggs – ‘Tasty by Greggs’.

The 130-seater café will open its doors in Primark’s Birmingham store on Saturday February 12, offering a menu including sausage rolls, bakes, pizza, sweet treats, coffee, and hot food-to-go.

For those who can’t get to Birmingham, there’s still the chance to get your hands on something from the limited-edition, 11-piece clothing collection – available in 60 Primark stores across the UK from Saturday February 19.

More details of what will be included in the range will be shared leading up to the launch date.

To give fans an opportunity for a first look, Greggs and Primark will be opening an exclusive boutique accessible by bookable appointment only. Located in Dean Street in Soho, London, from February 17-18, the pop-up will offer eager fashionistas the chance to pick up to two pieces for free.

The appointment system provided by Design My Night will open for booking via a link that will be shared on both Greggs and Primark Instagram and Facebook pages at 10.00am on Thursday February 10.

There are a limited number of appointments, available on a first come first served basis, allowing 300 customers through the doors across the two days.
