Dad shares recipe for easy two-ingredient flourless Nutella mug cakes

A dad has taken to TikTok to share his recipe for a mug cake with only two ingredients that takes mere minutes to make.

TikTokker and cookbook author George Georgievski, who posts under the username schoollunchboxdad, made a video showing how the simple, sumptuous little cakes are made.

You just need five tablespoons of Nutella, two eggs, four mugs, a mixing bowl, a fork for mixing and an air fryer.

All you need to do is mix the ingredients together in the bowl until the mixture is ‘nice and runny’.

Then, divide the mixture equally into the four mugs – George says two tablespoons in each should do the trick.

After the cake mixture has been divvied up, put the mugs in the air fryer for ten minutes, cooking them at 180°C.

The clip then shows what the mixture in the mugs should look like before and after cooking – with the previously gloopy cake mix getting nice and fluffy with the help of the air fryer.

George dusts the cooked cakes with powdered sugar before cutting into one, showing an indulgent-looking gooey centre.

The recipe has proven pretty popular since it was posted in July, with over 11,000 likes and more than 247,000 views so far.

When asked in the comments if you can still make the cakes in the oven, George replied explaining that you’d just need to cook them for 20 minutes at the same temperature or put them in the microwave for two minutes.
