Fast food restaurants often change and update their menus, and Burger King is no exception. The restaurant chain has this week launched new foods and drinks.
Burger King has launched new menu items, and some of them have never before been seen in the American restaurant’s UK branches.
The chain has just introduced a halloumi fries side option for the first time in Britain.
Customers can choose from either a pack of six fries for £3.69, or a pack of nine fries for £4.69.
They also come with a dip of your choice, including sweet chilli, smoky BBQ, and spicy mayo.
Additionally, halloumi fans can get their hands on the Halloumi King Burger, which costs £7.49 for a regular meal with chips and a drink, or £5.49 on its own.
However, Burger King’s halloumi options are available only during the summer months, and so customers need to act quick if they want to taste them.
Another new item to be added to the menu is the frozen Fanta strawberry slushie.
This tastes like a strawberry-flavoured Fanta, but is frozen to keep you cool on warmer days.

The slushie costs £2.29 for a regular-sized drink or £2.49 for a large.
This is a permanent addition to the menu and so will be available beyond the summer.
The fast food restaurant has also released its new Cheesy Bacon Lover burger range.
Costing £6.89 on its own, the Cheesy Bacon Double is a part of this range.
The burger comes with two beef burger patties topped with bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, BBQ sauce, cheese sauce, and two slices of American cheese.
If you want to purchase it as a meal, it will set you back £8.89.
It is also available as a single patty, instead of two, for £5.89 on its own or £7.89 as a regular meal with fries and a drink.
However, this burger range is only on sale for a limited time and will be removed from Burger King’s menu after the summer.
All of the new items are available in Burger King restaurants and drive-thrus, and can be ordered through the fast food chain’s app.
Burger King is also delivering via Just Eat, Uber Eats, and Deliveroo.
Soco Nunez, marketing director at Burger King UK, said: “At Burger King, there’s nothing we love more than adding great tasting new items like the Bacon Cheese Lovers range to our menu.
“With the warm weather hopefully here to stay, we know guests are going to love our summery Halloumi Fries on the side too. The new products are the perfect treat after a long, long winter.”
